Bought a case of these a while back for the trooper.

They were not packed well and a couple got dented so I cut one up.

First I must say that it's a very tough filter to get into.

The baseplate is extremely thick. The can is stiff for it's to size.

The paper element is nearly impossible to cut or tear.

Has holes instead of louvers.

Only negative is the nitril valve but that likely does not matter due to where the filter is mounted.

Like others on here this will be my go to filter.

I assume it's a premium guard?

Leak tested in china
Lately, I've received some China-made filters from the "closeout" section of RockAuto. While I can't talk about the filtration of these filters, they have been some great looking filters, when viewing the paper media and the fact they've been using hole instead of louvers.
Some other American-named filters that I have previously used have poor louvers.
