Found some natural peanut butter at a closeout store. Never heard of the brand, but label says it’s made in Argentina. But this stuff isn’t anything like common peanut butter. It’s only ground peanuts and is separated in the jar where it has to be stirred. The labels suggests flipping the jar over to minimize separation, but that does little to help. It’s nothing like Skippy or Jif, which add sugar, oils, and emulsifiers to prevent separation.

I gave it to my dad, who uses peanut butter in recipes. I don’t think he cares about the sugar, but it’s a pain stirring it.

I have a jar of Great Value no stir natural but it uses palm oil for the no stir trick. It has sugar and I just peeked in the jar and a tiny bit, maybe 4 drops of oil are on the top.

Also have bought Krema which is a peanut company local to me---Columbus---and has nothing but peanuts and yes it's a pain but we want fast and easy

I normally get the "Smuckers" brand Natural Peanut Butter. I have to stir it, but it tastes a lot better IMO.
My wife thinks it's too gritty and doesn't like to stir it, so for her and my son, I'll pick up the "Jif" Natural Peanut Butter.

Smucker's ingredients - Peanuts, Contains 1% or less of salt.

Jif ingredients - Peanuts, Sugar, Palm Oil, Contains 2% Or Less Of: Salt, Molasses.

Some of those natural peanut butters that separate are wonderful. Stirring all the time sucks, though. It's a tradeoff.

Especially when it's a full jar! Hard to stir when the oil is trying to splash out of the top. Once it's down to about 3/4 of a jar, it's a lot easier to get in there and whip it up. :)
