Selling my car situation

I checked briefly on edmunds.com and without options your vehicle Private party is sold typically for $2600. Close to $4000 is dealer price.

Not sure how much they are reducing your price but they may be armed with these facts possibly.

Very hard game especially when your in a hurry.

I think you have a niche car it will take time for the buyer who appreciates the condition and the vehicle itself. Best of luck.

no thanks. imma stick with KBB price it show 4500 dollar as good condition. exelence 4900 dolalr, im consider this car is good condition. dealer around here sell these car for 5-6k dollar. I know it cause I been shop around for a while til I found one 1 hours away from me, and my other 97 camaro that I sold to my friend, I have to fly to tampa florida and drove 16 hours back. i pay 4000 dealer price for it, they did change out transmission fluid and rear end and oil cause i request it, since 16 hours drive back. 4k not include air plane ticket and gas.

The truck that I want, its already sold, so im in no rush selling the car atm.

This is the curse of the better-than-average vehicle. If you price it above average noone will even come look at it. If you price it average, someone may eventually roll through and look at it and be impressed enough to buy it.

In my experience, KBB prices are unrealistically high, but if you have the time, keep trying. It takes the right buyer to appreciate the car, the condition, manual trans, etc.

If not, and it's not too loaded up with weighty luxo options, a CMC (N.A.S.A. 'Camaro-Mustang Challange' class) road racer might want it, as it's an LT1 6 speed.

Its 1LE option car. google 1LE and see how rare its. like I say if im not in a rush to sell cause I have another deal on the truck, I would not let it go for 4k, but since i miss that deal on the truck, im just gonna take it easy on the sale, no rush. Also I have a friend work at the bank loan moneys, I bumb into him this afternoon at kroger, and he saw I have a for sale sign, I told him I was need couple thousand dollar extra for another car, since he already let me loan 2x 5k in last 3 year, he say he could let me loan couple thousand dollar, I did this before, I loan the moneys buy what I need, then sell the car and pay up the loan. I dont know if the bank make any moneys out off me this way or not, but he did let me do that before. He know where I work, and our kid went same school before.

So far I have offer, 1500

3000, 3500, 3800 ( I almost let it go at this price, since I was in a rush, but something in side me say no ). The truck I miss the deal on is 99 GMC Sierra RED ! full side truck with back seat. there are only 2 color choice of my ride is red and black, those are only 2 color I will ever own. Since the truck is gone, I think its gonna take some time til I find another red gmc sierra again.

this is my other camaro that I sold to my friend, also those time I have alot freedom, can own many sport car I want, but now only 2 max. im kinda miss that stang lol. but told myself I wont go back to ford.
it have 2 tone color, when sun shine in, it turn bright ruby red, when sun down it kinda orange.






this is my 87 camaro z28 drag car park other side of my house, it has build head/cam 402 6.6L swap and build turbo 350 transmission, I went home one day and it got tow, cause my neighbor complaint to city, car is rarely drive cause it track car, and I put the cover on top of it, live in this neighborhood, u cant do nothing, I hate my neighbor.

Was asking $5500, I take 4k cause of the deal on the truck, now I wont take anything less then 4300. Just alone that bilstein shock and Stranos springs,UMI shock tower bar, UMI subfram connector, UMI low control arm with relocation kit. and few other umi stuff. 3.73 gear. pacesetter longtube header and magnaflow exhault and few other bolt on. not include labor. But I know aftermarket stuff worth nothing to some buyer, some peoples like stock stuff. Im just gonna wait for the right buyer atm.

Let me do a quick math for u, I did bought alot aftermarket stuff for it, and I have all receipt for those part and it just 7k miles and 1 year old. these are just estimate on top of my head. these part mabe cheap or price drop now. these are not include s/h and labor from my local peforming shop. And few other bolt on. I know I never get all moneys back from those part I spend, but at least I try get what I pay for the car. like I say imma just gonna find the right owner

I meet people like you in the used car markets all the time. Please don't be offended, but there's no increase in value for messing with that car.

It might be worth a LOT more if it was original and untouched. But when you have mods bolted on it severely limits your buyers.

I might offer 3000 just because it is somewhat rare, but it's still just a Camaro to most out there.

Agreed! A lesson I learned many years ago - a car is only worth what someone will pay for it!
 
7:30 I got a text asking if I still have the car, I was sleep, wake up cause of the phone ring from some one asking if I still have the car, I return the text message, and the girl call me asking wat lowest I take, I say 4300, she say can I take 4250 since she have to drive 40 min to me, I say ok ! we meet up in 1 hours. car is SOLD !, im go wash the car again and clean it up a little bit, checking oil and checking all the fluid, check the tires, take off my garage door opener, look under the seat make sure I dont forget nothing. LOL im so happy !!

Hummm, the car is sold only when she hands over the money.
I've had several people say they will 'buy' over the phone, then jerk me around when they arrive.
I hope the car REALLY sold for you. :-)
 
SOLD ! I saw a smile when she saw the car, she drive very well in 6 speed, she know what she doing, we take the car around the block and on the highway, pedal to the medal, car respond really well, i saw she smile whole time, that a good thing, last night im also print out everything I done to the car, like maintain stuff, oil weight, filter wat i use for the rear end and transmission and how long was it. and few recoment from me on what fluid, gas, to use... i write a bill of sale, she hand over the cash, i test it with the pen to make sure it legit ^^. anyway im happy inside, also feeling really good inside that i have nothing to hide to her, and she happy with the car.

I take my time today give she a hand wash clean up really well, check all the fluid, also get the car up and check the rear end fluid ( i just change it 2 week ago ), and check the transmission fluid. check the tires. Check everything I can. So I have good feeling that everything is good to go. and it will be a while til she need to change those again, at least 2 years.
