Do you have any evidence of that statement (that SN dinos are Syn-Blends) ? Please provide.....

At least the Delco syn blend dexos1 oil has proven to be inadequate over an OLM-recommended interval in some of the newer GM engines using turbos and/or DI. A Full Synthetic dexos1 that can go the distance is only a few dollars more, thus being cheaper overall. Reason not to use it IMO.

True...I find Quaker State Ultimate Durability works pretty well...

All of the oils that I purchased on clearance, in synthetic blend, were SN, GF-5. So I don't think that is the primary reasoning for clearing out the oils.

IMO....it all boils down to shelf space and giving products with higher mark-ups more space and eliminating the loss leaders.
