I'm planning on changing oil in september.
My car is a 2003 Hyundai Accent LC with 74.000 km on it.
My driving habits are going to change since I'm gonna drive it repetitive short distances (2 km back and forth two to three times per day except on weekends).
I'm gonna adjust the OCI this way: I'm gonna change oil every 5.000 km or 6 months, whichever occurs first.
According to the owner's manual of my car the oil requirements are easy to accomplish since it only says ILSAC GF-3 or above, API SJ, SL or above.
I've been using Petronas Syntium 5000 XS 5w30, which accomplishes the following regulations: API SN, ACEA C2, C3 (I think it's perfectly suitable for my car, and I don't have any complain about it) BUT I'm planning on switch to another option (cheaper and with a better additive package if it's possible).
I just want to keep it in a budget but keeping a good balance between the quality of the product and the price, bc I'm gonna go from 1 year or 8.000 km OCI to 6 months - 5.000 km).
I like this oil: Mannol Formula JP 5w30. It accomplishes ILSAC GF-5 and API SN, and according to its technical data sheet it's quite similar to the oil I've been using until now in terms of performance (I put links to the tech data in the links below for your interest).

I'm perfectly aware they are not 100% synthetic motor oil, but bearing in mind the short OCIs I don't think using conventional is a problem here.
