Second best place for a oil change

I prefer my garage but my second choice would be the driveway.

JK Take it to the dealer you don't need some yokel wrenching on the aluminum pan threads.

Zaedock or Trav would be reliable choices.
Everything else is hit or miss.
Honda is not famous for great dealer service, so going to a dealer is no guarantee of good work.
Dealer service departments often upsell as heavily as any quick-lube as well.
Walmart TLEs can be very good as well as very cheap.
They don't upsell since the services they offer are so limited.
Indies in general are also hit and miss.
Asking others in the area who to take the car to isn't all that useful.
Most people have never done anything to a car and have no standard by which they can judge good versus bad work.
That leaves Zaedock and Trav.

Yes, Trav would be another great choice! Wonder how close his shop is?

Thanks for the confidence guys! Trav would also be a great choice. I know that as members we don't all "know" each other, but over the years I like to think of us all as friends. I know that if my daughter was somewhere in the US where I couldn't help her, someone here would offer.

If she has the strength to say NO to their upselling, they might be an alternative.

Thought they cheaped down and use formula shell instead.

As of a couple of years ago I believe they used Quaker State as their basic oil change, and Pennzoil products for the higher-end service. The previous owner of my car took it to Jiffy Lube a few times and they used Quaker State in it, per the receipts.

As an aside, I believe that Jiffy Lube franchises are free to hold contracts with oil companies outside of SOPUS (at least here in SoCal it seems that they can). A few years back I lived at a place where I was unable to service or do oil changes on my car, so I found a local Jiffy Lube to go to in the mean time. When I first started going there they used 76/Kendall oil products, but after 6 months or so they switched over to Mobil products (Mobil 1, Mobil Clean, etc). I asked one of the employees about the change out of curiosity, and he told me that the shop owner got a better price from Mobil than what he was paying for Kendall. I do notice the majority of these places do advertise Pennzoil though.

Just my 2 cents.
