Sears is still incompetent

Lots of fond memories as a small child being led around inside the Viriginia Beach Sears looking for school clothes for me or my siblings in the 1970s. There was always a lady standing at the center checkout handing out balloons to all the kids. I'd usually lose my grip on the string in the parking lot. :) We were a Kenmore, Craftsman and Roebucks family.

Sad to see this era fall fall away due to their unwillingness, or inability to keep up with the times. It looks like the Sears near me in Plano is still clinging to life. Haven't been in there in a decade or more. When I do go to that mall, I visit their ailing competition, JC Penny. It's always a great shopping experience, because there's never anyone else in there.

I park near Sears the one or two times/year I visit a mall. I can usually park close to a door, and it's usually rainy or snowy on those days.

But those days will not last.
