It appears that it probably is, some synthetics may have a small amount of group 1 added back for additive solubility.

MSDS only identifies compounds that are hazardous. It does not give full picture. Discussed here LONG time ago.

More than likely, honest solubility additivie carrier listed in sds.

The other big company used to use "EXCLUSIVE OF CARRIER OIL" for their synthetic oils.... how soon we forget
