Scored a Oil Stash

Ok so I scored a bit of oil from my dad and work...in includes
1 quart shell formula clean 5w30
2 quarts delo 400 15w40
3 quarts Pennzoil Conventional 10w40
1 quart western family 10w4
1 half quart chevron supreme 5w30
1 quart seven eleven 10w30
1 half quart carquest 10w30
Now with oil changes due for my Volare and my dads 00 Silverado 6.0..I was wondering if I could mix any of these together for a oil change
 
How old/which oil series certifications do they carry?

I would likely mix most of them together.....and pour them into my recycle jug.

I wouldn't hesitate to mix any of them. Just my opinion.
I'm sure I will get grilled but, oh well.
 
Depends on what you are putting the mix in. My old civic with 275,000 miles I would just run it. I put the used oil from my other cars changes in it. Now a newer car I would be more cautious on but in general they should mix fine.

I don't see any of these oils exceeding a 10W30 by combining them together.
If an enging built today that specs Xw20 and the SAME engine was built 10-12 years ago, same clearances and tolerances used then and now, that spec'd 10w30 or 5W30 then, I don't see any problem combining these oils and using them in the newer engine.

This is a small stash.
I'd use it in the Volare.
I'd mix the Formula Shell with the Pennzoil conventional with a marginal quantity of whatever to top it off.
Maybe use the rest for top-offs or the lawn mowers?
Free oil is almost always a good thing.

I agree. Any API oil will mix with any other API oil with no risk of clash.
Mix em and use them in the slant 6. It won't notice any difference. In the chev I would stick with a consistent brand although for summer grade is less important(unless too thin)
 
I ended up using Pennzoil High Mileage in the chevy with a Bosch filter....should I get it for the volare or just use my home brew?
