32,000 miles on 1995 AMG M104 DOHC Inline-6 engine
3,500 miles on sample (per Schaeffer, no TBN)
Recent head & valve-job 3,500 miles ago.

Wear Metals (PPM)

Moly: 147
Phosphorus: 1929

Oil Properties:
Viscosity: 15.22
SAE: 40W

Oxidation: 4
Nitration: 7

Contamination & Additive depletion levels normal.
Increase oil drain interval to 5,500 miles.

In addition to a little cleaning by the gas/diesel oil, I suspect that iron is coming from the head work ... camshafts and tappets doin' their little luv dance.

Are these numbers accurate! Some drunk must have been running the shift the night they blended this oil. This is frigging awesome! (or is it?)
This oil is looking better and better everyday!

you swapped the C36 engine into an '88 wagon? wow. hey, let me know when you want to sell that thing!

Update.
6,500 mostly city miles (6-months), with oil filter replaced after 3-months.

Head gasket & valve stem seals replaced about 3-years ago.

Looks like ONLY TWO oil-changes per year now!
