Canned brake cleaner is expensive. I know people use that refillable little jug that can be pressurized. I saw a guy working out of his small garage use one of his spray guns filled with brake cleaner to clean parts. A lot more air flow and pressure and less brake cleaner used perhaps?

If you're going through that much solvent, wear some darn PPE. You only get one liver.

I'm going to assume the dude lives somewhere "not here" and there may be logistical reasons to use his setup.

When I do work like this I use my small ultrasonic cleaner that I bought at Harbor Freight. I will fill it with a half gallon of diluted Super Clean or Simple Green and heat the solution and run it until the parts are spotless.

If I'm working on a vehicle then I use the aerosol brake parts cleaner but for something that was shown at the opening of this video then that just looks wasteful and unhealthy.

Electrical contact cleaner is even more costly than brake cleaner.

But it is a fabulous degreaser that will strip away the type of oil grime found underneath a leaky car with ease, if you can bear to see it used in the manner, and not wince at the cost.
