Ordered a Clip + from Ebay a few weeks ago. Manufacturer refurbished. It was to replace a Clip + I lost. The day after I ordered it I found that old one connected to the computer. I had been using it for many months without problem. Received the refurb Clip +. It installed driver right away on Windows 7. Even had a Icon on taskbar to monitor battery, files, updates, etc. My older Clip + did not have that. Removed refurb Clip + from computer and it would not turn on or off. Battery monitoring would say battery was empty and the MP3 player would say it was full? Sandisk tech support says update firmware. It is current. On website says to hold power switch to reset player. Does not work. I took my working Clip +, hooked it up to the Windows 7 computer and now its power switch does not work. Updated firmware and still not working. It seems the newer software that installed on Windows 7 is buggy. Never had a problem until it installed new software/driver and updated firmware with working unit.

I am somewhat distracted. My stepfatherer fell, broke ribs, and has had a lot of health problems this past month. That made me more scatter brained. I was not expecting problems with Sandisk. Their products in my experience have been great....until now.

you lost the refurb roulette. Try again?

contact the seller maybe he will take care of you.

I did send it back. What had me scratching my head was the power switch went bad with my working unit. The good news is I found an old Clip 4 gb unit without the clip that it is working well. I had it in a drawer. Thought it was dead. Guess I was wrong.
