I'm considering getting and installing a FUMOTO valve on my Outlook. This would ease draining oil and facilitate obtaining samples for UOA. The Fumoto valve can be obtained with (or without) a hose nipple. What type of tubing should be used to take the UOA sample? I don't want to buy the wrong kind and end up affecting or contaminating the sample taken.
I know such tubing is sold from labs. However I would believe this tubing is likely available at a lower price from alternative sources (Home Depot, Canadian Tire, Princess Auto, Pep Boys, JEGS, etc.) What is the correct type of tubing to utilize?
