It does have big tanks, plus toy haulers are heavier than a regular travel trailer to begin with. The fresh water tank is actually 110 gallons. I forget the exact size of the gray and black tanks. It also has a 30 gallon fuel tank and an on board generator which add even more to the weight. GVWR is 11,000 lbs, so I'm still under by a good amount.

05 Escapade 28ft. Has around 65k right now. We haven't went on many as trips the last two years but prior did 2-3 big trips a year. I'd say the best was up to Winnipeg and the other across Canada to Niagara Falls. Working on getting it ready for the big Alaska trip next year. Driveshaft will be balanced this week, roof recoated once the maple tree's get done and later this year at least one solar panel, air bags and a sway bar. It's not perfect but I'm getting it there.
First trip in the new unit, having a relaxing weekend.
If you have never looked at Blackstone cooktops they are great for camping. You can cook so many things on them. I still take a charcoal grill , but I use this for everything from omlets to burgers.
