I always thought Rush was only a band, learn something new everyday
Blessed Repose and Eternal Memory
A human being died, personal politics need not be mentioned.
He was a talk show host and entertainer and a human that passed away from a horrible illness that no one on this earth deserves, why bring politics into it.

he built a whole radio host career on talking about politics, specifically bias views and politics...
All "views" are biased, including yours and mine.
Listened to him in the late eighties, stopped listening in the early nineties. Guess that shows I was ahead of the curve.

I re-read every post in this thread and yours are the only ones wanting to focus on politics so please do not cry foul and at the same time be the only person engaging in what you are complaining about, that is cognitive dissonance.
Trailblazer and pretty much created a genre of talk radio. In before the lock, because some people won't be able to keep it clean.
I listened to Rush on and off for decades, did I agree with everything he professed, no, but he had a way of getting your attention & making you think. He was a great man, I have never seen his equal, I will miss his wit & humor, may he rest in peace in God's grace.
He had a grand radio voice, and a sense of humor about himself; he used to refer to himself as "your harmless little fuzzball host."

One of the amazing things about his radio work is that he never hurried through what he had to say. No music needed. He would lay his essay for the day or the hour out, in simple clear sentences, and never hurried it and was never afraid to pause for effect or to find the right word.
Very sad news. RIP Rush.
!He will be greatly missed. Definitely the GOAT!
