Anyone here knows how RK pro-rated warranty works?

Have a 51R battery with 60months limited warranty, started showing issues at 13months mark and now at almost 14-15 months it is testing bad and not starting the car.

Appreciate the help.

I had a one year old RK car battery that started leaking acid around the negative terminal. Enough to where it kept causing the green fuzz to appear. RK traded it out no questions asked for a brand new one. It didn't cost me anything.

When the temp is below 20, car is having a very weak crank and not starting with a new RK battery.

Does it mean new battery is bad too or I should check something else?

Have the battery tested and find out.
Any Autozone or AAP will do it for free.
I would also suggest the OP consider buying a battery and alternator tester. There are a ton of threads here with recommendations. I have owned one for over 15 years and it is a huge time saver. I can also routinely test my batteries whenever I perform oil changes or other checks as it is easy to do. I just discovered my friends car battery needs replacing, though it starts and drives fine, but is at diminished capacity and resistance. Probably will leave her stranded if not replaced in the next month or two. We (I) am going to do it this weekend.

Today the Ancel BA101 is on sale for $24 if you check the box for a 40% off discount which is applied when you check out.

Thx, it is showing up for $25 - is it a good tester for battery and alternator? Is there anything that can test starter health too?
