runs a little shakey

i use chevron supreme and have 3800 on my oil now
when i did my oil change it ran very smooth,but
now i notice the motor feels a little rough,
can some one explain this?

Change and see if its oil related.
At 89 cents at Kragen this week -that's the quickest way to move to non oil related issues that effect I assume you mean idling with jitters. My Chevron using Mazda will run worse at around 5K but its mostly hla noise a sit get dirty.

Other choices non oil - egr value carboned, pcv leak at hose , gasket or valve, head gasket leak.

All of my Toyotas do this somewhere between 3,000 and 4,000 miles. I can "make it go away" by shifting into neutral when idling at stop lights, but instead I use this as a sign that the oil needs changed. Changing the oil does, indeed, make it go away, but why as always eluded me.... I suspect a change in either viscosity or film strength but have no data on which to base this intuition.

Conversely, none of my cars with manual transmissions display this property....
