All of my Toyotas do this somewhere between 3,000 and 4,000 miles. I can "make it go away" by shifting into neutral when idling at stop lights, but instead I use this as a sign that the oil needs changed. Changing the oil does, indeed, make it go away, but why as always eluded me.... I suspect a change in either viscosity or film strength but have no data on which to base this intuition.
Conversely, none of my cars with manual transmissions display this property....
