Royal Purple or Mobil1 Ep oil filter

You can’t NEVER go wrong with ANYTHING that have the name Mobil 1 .

if you hold Mobil 1 oil filter you can feel that thing is quality . Easy to find every day at Walmart .

for me sometime I just like stick with none wire back oil filter .

So you can?
Whenever I feel like spend more I grab a Mobil 1 oil and Mobil 1 filter .

Back when I work at the performing / audio shop . That is the go to combo we install on 99% of customer 700whp-1000whp . That race daily at the track / street . DD . Drive cross the country . Towing serious heavy load ( redline for transmission and front and rear diff )

now I just keep it simple on my dd either fram orange can or motorcraft oil filter and change out every 3-5k or every 6 month with Quaker state line oil , they cheap and do the job for me just fine .

You will never notice a difference with your filter choices during your ownership of the vehicle.

Unless you run them for multiple OCIs, or the Tearolator lets you down & allows dirt to bypass the media, potentially damaging bearings, etc. If you're a cheapskate like me, and drive your (mostly bought used) vehicles into oblivion, it could make a difference for timing chains & bearings.

The purple cans look much better than the plain-Jane Mobil cans, so definitely go with RP. Even better if it matches the oil color.

Does RP still use metal screen backing?
On amazon a lot of complaints that RPs are shipped appear to be counterfeit or with defect
