i have been using royal purple 10w30 for about 2 years in both my cars and my endless supply has ran out.after reading several posts on here i decided to go with havoline 10w30 for its low cost and good protection. question is i have about 3 quarts of royal purple left and was wondering if it would be ok to use it and mix a couple quarts of the havoline in with it.

I think you'll find Royal Purple is anything but a marketing ploy, its truly an oil company who really delivers in both the automotive and industrial sector.
No there would be no problen mixing them, the other oil will just be a carrier,won't be a problem in the least...

no i was getting it at work cause they buy it in 55 gallon drums for the forklifts but i guess they figured out some of us were getting it now its under lock and key.

I'd say you were stealing it, versus "getting it".
I would say that by using RP you will probably save the cost of oil because of fewer oil changes and higher MPG. If you also considder the lower maintenance cost you will achieve by using it, I clearly see no reason for not using it. Very often it is cheap to buy quality.
How does one run out of an endless supply of oil?
guess i worded that wrong. i ran out of my free supply of oil .id like to keep using it but theres no way im paying 5 bucks a quart for oil
