I no longer eat anything containing wheat. I have to wonder if this practice explains my relatively recent sensitivity to anything made with wheat. In France, and in Italy, I have had bread, without the adverse reaction that American wheat seems to cause.No wonder our food supply is a major contributor to serious illness. The wheat harvest is underway. Last friday, a large wheat field near me was green. Yesterday it was completely brown. Tire tracks were present in the fields. A farmer once confirmed they spray the wheat with roundup in mid June to speed up the begining of harvest so they can get a planting of soybeans in that field after the wheat is harvested. Think about that the next time you eat something containing wheat.
