Roughly how old is this Fram oil filter?

Removed this filter from my Uncle's 2002 S10 (4.3 V6) today. Roughly how old is it? Will give us an idea of how long it had been since it had the oil changed.

Date code (on side of can, should start with an "A"), or look at the base plate, if it has an orange ADV, it is not that old, if a black one, at least 2 years old.
It looks rough regardless.

I'd say it's like 3+ years old, I believe they'd been doing them with this stye of label for at least 2 or 3 years now.
