Rotella T6 5w-40 ok for '99 Cummins 24v?

I just aquired a nice '99 Cummins 24v, looking for a good oil to run in it. Would Rotella T6 be a good choice? Most of my driving is highway, so I'll run in 7000 miles.

That would be a very good oil for your truck. Many happy people running that oil in their Cummins engines.

I'm running some of the old CI4 RTS I acquired in my travels in my 98 12V...good stuff. 7K is probably conservative for anything 98-02, unless you are running modified.
