T5 work ok in your motorcycle? I have used T4 and T6 in my ATV's, and figured T5 was good to go, but haven't yet risked it since it doesn't actually have the "JASO MA" rating on it.
I ordered two jugs for pickup and had one of my kids pick it up for me yesterday (college town). They would allow be to order up to 11 online for pickup, but I only ordered the two I could get rebates on. Thought more about and it told the kid to go in and get some more, and it was gone. My guess is the employees saw the price and bought it (which is fine, and what I would do if I worked somewhere that put something I wanted on clearance)
Been using the new and old formulas in the same bike for over 10 years now no worries. Its an older XR650R that will run on anything. JASO standard is a bit of a misnomer. If an oil company pays a fee and any oil can be JASO rated.

I just did. I bought 3 gallons for $13.17 each and tried to submit for a case of 3. We will see what happens. If it works, you can buy 3 more and submit again for 2 x $30 rebates. Basically it makes it $10 for 3 jugs after rebate at this price.
I first tried another store on my way home from work. Their clearance price was $29.67. Hard pass. Not a deal at all
I'd probably use it in the summer in my gto (ls1 engine). I have high flow metallic cats so I don't have a lot of worry about any oil burning messing with the cats. They aren't super functional anyway.
Just wanted to make sure it won't mess up my clutches. Most of my use are older Honda ATV's. I rebuild 3-4 per year and normally put T4 in them immediately after rebuilding. I figured T5 was wet clutch safe, and Shell just didn't want to pay for the JASO cert, but wanted to make sure before I start dumping it in my ATV's
Rebate for my try of a case of 3 is in the system and shows In Process. Obviously I would much rather get $30 on one rebate and be able to submit again then just getting 2x$10 and being done.
Submitted my rebate for 4 jugs. I did 1 - 3 pack and 1 -1 pack. Will post what happens.
