as an american who was stationed in germany for three years ... i concur. also, the vienna christmas market in the snow is one of the most beautiful things i have ever seen!

Remember the TIde Pods thing, there was a news story about people eating them, I think most of the articles about it failed to acknowledge that most of the people eating them were elderly people with dementia that mistaken them for candy, as dedtergent pods are a fairly new invention and someone in the late stages of dementia or Alzheimer's isn't going to know what they are and based on how they look they presume it's candy. Then there was a whole bunch of memes about people eating tide pods as a result of the news articles and then a bunch of teenagers got the idea to try eating them.
