^^^ I was stationed at Hunter Army Airfield in Savannah. Wanted to move there but ended up in Richmond. BTW I-295 in Richmond is exit # 84 and you exit from the left lane North of Richmond. Only about 5 miles longer but speed limit is 65 and you don't have as much heavy traffic. If you get fuel in VA exit 104 is your best bet.

Going to see that Mouse in Orlando for a week. Hate to fly and love to drive, so the wifey is giving me a head start to drive down and meet her there.

Okay, take 301 south all the way until I see I-295 by Richmond exit 84, then pick up 95 south in Petersburg?

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

A beautiful trip down south and I got to miss all that traffic in DC, darn!

I started out with a full tank of raceway and got 28 mpg. Stayed overnight in Petersburg, VA. In the morning I jumped on 95 south through the Carolina's and filled up with Chevon and the mpg then went to 30 mpg. I avg 72 mph going southbound. I was about to make a personal best time getting into Orlando when I ran into bike week 60 miles north of Daytona beach. 95 south was wall to wall bike traffic. Trailers, pickup trucks, I even saw a saturn coupe with a trailer attached to it. He was carrying his Harley(nice bike). After a week in Orlando I got to see the same people on the way home on 95 North. The local news said that there was 18 deaths in Daytona during bike week.
Thank you guys again for making the ride less stressful.
