Indeed. Seems much higher than many of the other RLI VOA's I've seen if I'm remembering correctly.
 
Not a very clean oil - iron, lead, silicon, and sodium in it. Amounts are too small, I'd think, to be adds. Pretty thin for a HD 40-weight - I'd expect something closer to 15 cst.....
 
Silicon can be used as a anti-foaming agent in oil and lead can also be used as a additive in low levels. Also the viscosity is correct for the application it was crated for which was for the Audi engine, this is being used in a VW 2.0T FSI motor and the mid SAE 40 weight is correct for the application.
