RK Valvoline sale

Rural King is advertising Valvoline conventional as a sale, 5qt for 15.99, available in 5w20, 5w30, 10w30 and 10w40. I dont know about you but this does not sound like much of a deal to me, am I missing something or is this some kind of good price?

You are right. WalMart Super Tech Synthetic is a few penny's less.

Decent price, but not worth backing up the truck.

My Walmart is around $18.

RK's Maxlife rebate actually makes Maxlife less-six quarts would be $21.68-$8 rebate=$13.68 ($17.99 jug & $3.69 quart)

I stopped in RK yesterday (I'm vacationing in Fla.).....I didn't. notice the Valvoline conventional (wasn't really looking) but I did notice the change in both price and supplier to RKs house brand synthetic...it was 10.99 for the 5 qt. jug last year and is now 13.99. I did notice single quarts of Lubrigold syn. D1g2. SN+. (made ny Warren of Dunn NC..not WPP) for 2.99 a qt. I couldn't find PDS on the D1g2 SN+ version...but the D1 SN 5w30 shows a PP of -50*F......
