If you're worried about ZDDP and don't want to thicken or thin your oil, look at Red Line Break In Oil Additive. It's loaded with ZDDP and doesn't take much to bring the ZDDP level up. Just a thought.

I agree 100%... great oil for your application and I doubt you could find something that would work better.

Summit Racing has a good line of oil made by Spectro. Zinc level is 1800ppm and cost is $4.95/qt for 30W, 10W-40, or 20W-50 in either conventional or semi-synthetic. My used oil analysis showed over 1900ppm zinc.

Cam-Shield provides 1600ppm of zinc per half ounce. Cost is $14.95 for four ounces or $23.95 for eight ounces. For a six quart system, that means an ounce would raise the zinc level of a standard SM oil to the same level as using a 1300ppm oil and the bottle would last up to eight changes costing only $3 per change.

Unlike Rislone, either one of the above options will not affect the overall properties of your oil other than ZDDP level.
