LOL. Dude. They're going to crush a similar sized untrained male.

I doubt that...unless the guy is just a real milk toast.

Biologically wise...and taking into account physics....the odds are in favor of the male. unless of course, like I said, the guy is just not a very good example of a fit male of equal age.

Muscle and bone of a male is more dense and typically far more powerful than even a fit female. While a female can have more endurance...her lower mass and density would make a lucky kick/punch the only way she would win such a contest (my opinion only). Males can also take a lot more physical abuse than a female...so a few good punches/kicks from a male....and she'd be broken and beat. Again....this is just my opinion.

Through film and the media, the prevailing thought seems to be that females are almost equal to males in physical abilities. This is simply false in just about all areas, especially pertaining to fighting.

I really would not want to see a male beat up a female anyway. But I'll bet someday, they will match these two genders against each other. Lot's of money to be made.
It's not male vs female. It's extensive training vs untrained. You're being silly. Maybe trolling.

Nobody is "trolling" anything buddy. Keep the insults to a minimum.

I expressed an opinion that you may not agree with in response to a previous post about not wanting to "tick" her off.

Geez....

Quote from grampi...."He's obviously never squared off with anyone who knows martial arts...these are the guys you see in the youtube videos gettin their butts kicked by chicks..."

No....at least not a female. I was raised not to strike a woman.

You are welcome, among others, to your opinion. I've just never had fear of ANY female...big...small...martial artist or not.
Maybe should could whip my butt....but then maybe not. Like I said before, we'll never know.

Ha ha ha....I would risk looking like another Bobby Riggs as long as I get the pay-out!

Ronda was too blind with emotion this time around. It was evident at the weigh-in, and it was evident when she entered the ring.

She went in there with no appreciation for the fact that she was being suckered into doing everything that Holm wanted her to do.

It was a total Tom and Jerry match.

How much of a beating would you or anyone else endure for a paycheck like this.

I might have agreed with you except. RR was too experienced to allow herself to be had by a kick to the head. This could have been a fatal blow...and its no impossible for her to have brain bleeding as we speak.

Grampi is right RR was unable to take HH bc HH was better than her this day for whatever reason. I am not going to say RR was not prepared though. Although it is possible. If she wasn't, she will be next time.

Holm is better any day, Rousey's fighting style will never beat Holm. Rousey knew she didn't have a chance after the first time they went to the mat and she couldn't do jack squat to Holm, you could see the shock in her face and the second time ? Hmm lets just say that Holm did Rousey a favor by letting her get back up. Rousey was defenceless against that kick because she was knocked out on her feet from the preceding left Holm landed, Rousey was hanging in lala land when she took the kick.

If there is a rematch Rousey will take a worst beating than before.

Come on man. I'm trying to help you out. You're sounding silly. Saying you were probably trolling was a complement.

I would have to respectively disagree. Unless you have at least a 2nd degree black belt. Maybe someone with a 1st degree black belt could do OK and do her in. But I have been there and done that. I had a female karate instructor that broke one of my ribs bc she didn't quite pull her kick. So unless you are well versed she would break you like a pretzel in 2 seconds.
She has a 4th degree and her mother has a 7th degree.

As Hatt said..it is more about training than strength.

But yes a woman does not have the muscle structure to compete with a man. My trainer is a woman in unbelievable shape and probably can maybe only do 110 Pound biceps curl. But to be fair she doesn't work diligently with weights.

Strength comes into play when you have equally matched opponents. A skilled MMA fighter will know endless ways to put you into unfavorable positions. If anyone remembers the old UFCs they may recall the submission Royce Gracie had where he was upside down on his head. Once you're in that position, that you don't know how you got into, there will be no escape.

Fixed like every other fight game, its all about the $$$$.

I honestly think that unless you can prove that, you should be fined into penury for libel.

Well...maybe you are right. I've never even entertained the notion of fighting a woman...at least until I ventured into this thread...lol.

Honestly though, I have a seriously messed up back and probably couldn't beat up an eighty year old woman using a walker.

Before my back got messed up? I would actually give her a go. (In the cage/ring of course). I would have no fear of that. And I'm not trying to be a "troll" or overtly gender biased. It would be interesting.

The problem was that Rhonda was distracted by her "other" life style demands.

Ronda was "gassed" after 60 seconds in the first round.

And Holly was "sandbagging" her last 4 or 5 fights. It was plain to see that Holly could have ended anyone of those fights the moment see decided to do so. She carried her opponents. Go back and check it out.

I'm willing to bet you couldn't kick her out even if you wanted to...

It was just a matter of time, Rousey's time has come. There will be big money in a rematch for both fighters now.

Funny how you state everything as though it's fact. Do you have a crystal ball that no one else has access to? BTW, I think you're wrong...

Remember the scene in Raging Bull when LaMotta threw the fight. I bet Rousey cried like a baby in the dressing room too.

You only think that because you have not been following Holly. A rematch will be longer......But the result will be the same.
