I knew/know that someone who's the undisputed World Boxing and Kick Boxing champ with a pro record of 53-3-3 should kick (pun intended) the [censored] out of an arm bar expert who's main weapon is the fear factor. Rousey's pro record is 12-0 and that doesn't go well against someone who's been there 59 times.
Vegas took a real beating on this fight and it wasn't because of all the little guy's $10 & $20 bets.....the insiders did them in with all the heavy cash. Vegas should have known the way the betting was going down they should have change something, their greed blinded them. There's an old saying in the gambling world, Scared money never wins, Holm camp didn't have scared money, they bet on Holm not falling for the "Fear factor". They won as did I.
You are correct grampi, no crystal ball, wish I could find one.

Remember the scene in Raging Bull when LaMotta threw the fight. I bet Rousey cried like a baby in the dressing room too.
You only think that because you have not been following Holly. A rematch will be longer......But the result will be the same.
Correct, Holm only needed to learn how to defence the arm bar, Rousey needs years to learn how to defence all of Holm's weapons. Time is short.
I only see two girls that match up with Holm, that doesn't mean they'll win but they have a better chance than Rousey. Miesha Tate and Cyborg Justino.
I agree with you. I haven't heard of HH, but when I went back and watched some of her past fights, I was impressed and surprised how underestimated she was. RR had no chance.
And HH fights are more impressive if you knew the strategy behind them. HH was questioned on some of the fights because she would get them down and let them back up instead of ground & pound. HH said she wasn't there to destroy someone’s face for fast win. HH had a game plan and things to work on so that’s what she went with. Now people are saying things like she was sandbagging and could have ended the fights at will. She wasn't sandbagging, she was learning the things she would need to be the Champ. RR never learned those with her quick ending fights. HH took RR down and could've started the ground & pound but she let RR back up. HH was the cat playing with a mouse, she wanted to stick it out longer with the tough one.
Don't fall for all the [censored] posted in the news by the so called experts. It may not have been posted in public but some of those experts made big money on HH win. RR is still the big $$ pawn and she'll be exploited by these people. RR isn't done but this sport is short lived and takes its toll on the mind & body. HH just put a big big road block in RR mind.
I feel sorry for RR because of all the people dumping on her. Fact is that her fighting style didn't match up with HH, simple as that.
