Retro new cars, model names

Thanks b-man! I'm referring to the "new" body style - 1973. Those (2 dr) just look bad-arze nasty good to me with correct wheels, and suspension. Sorta pimp nasty. But I'd take 1970 454 with a built 500 crate motor

I do like the 60's Camaro and the AMX, too.
 
...and I think what makes the deviation towards "retro" is the lame "todays technology" which can't unite a self. I'd rather not to see decoration versions of the above mentioned cars ever.
 
I wonder if it would be possible for a company to produce a modernized version of this without bastardizing it. I'm not a huge fan of cars this old, but I've always thought of this as a rolling work of art.

They do, and they did. It's called the Excalibur and it's a kit/ hand assembled car. You can see in this front view the three tiny windshield wipers.
