Resetting oil use %

Does anyone out there know how to reset the oil use % guage on the odometer on a 2006 Honda Odyssey?

maybe. i have instructions for up to 05s. it maybe the same for 06s.

To reset MAINTENANCE REQUIRED; press and hold TRIP/RESET button on the instrument panel. Turn ignition on and hold until the light goes out.

i know this is for a maintenance reqd light but its worth a shot. your owners manual should also have instructions for resetting.

I have to assume the OLM for the 2006 Odyssey is the same as my 2006 Ridgeline. If it is, the first thing you want to do is bring up the oil life expectancy screen by pressing the select button twice after turning the key to the on positon (motor does not need to be running). Then, press the reset button 10 seconds after which a selection screen will appear asking if you want to reset the monitor - either yes >Y or no <N. Press the select button once for yes and twice for no. If it accepts yes, your monitor should be reset and the oil life expectancy should show "100%".

Thanks a lot folks. I've searched through the owners manual till I'm blue in the face, and I can't find anything. I'll try these procedures to see if anything happens. Thanks again.
