I think that's its to early for a filter ?

Drain refill couple time should be enough for now ?

Car Mazda 3 4 spee AT

If you don't feel confident to do the cooler line flush...then do the drain fills as they are much easier. Do 4 with some driving in between. Then do one every 15kmiles after that.

Magnafine filter ?

What about dropping old one ?

or just go with Magnafine and leave old one as is ?

Magnafine may interrupt flow ...?

Thank You Guys

I like to start by dropping the pan and changing the filter, mostly because I can then clean the residue from the bottom of the tranny pan.

Im Afraid that .. it will leak after ... or I will use to much silicon .. and it will get in to atf :P

I would add the Magnefine and leave the old one as is.

It does not interrupt the flow. If it does fill up it has a pressure relief.

Many refuild shops always install a Magnefine as part of installing the rebuilt since there might be junk in the transmission lines after a transmission failure.

I would not worry about replacing the filter. Your tranny is practically brand new and it has about 20k km. You should be fine with just drain and refill.

If you want to change the current fluid to Amsoil (a good idea) then a cooler line flush is the only way to go.

If you only want to freshen up the current fluid with a similar ATF (and remove some wear metals by dumping some old ATF) then a drain and refill is a good way to go.

I would like to change to Amsoil I have 12 Quarts Waiting in my Garage ...

But I think I will do drains .. Im to afraid to do the cooler line flush ...

I do drain/refills in my Acura with Amsoil ATF since it has a drain plug that is extremely handy and easy to do. Every time I change it I notice a difference in shift quality. It eventually goes back to normal but it's easy enough to do that I've done it probably 5 times in the past 2 years
