The error messages started when I switched from Windows10 on my old PC to Windows11 on my new BeeLink mini PC. Printer is an old Brother MFC 7220.

The printer resumes working after I run the troubleshooter for it. The troubleshooter will state that it could not identify the problem, but the printer starts printing. It will work for a few days and then I have to run the troubleshooter again..

Any fixes?

not seeing anything for windows 11 on the brother site may have to check for an update in device manager.

Dunno about your printer but mine's possessed by some kind of evil paper-wasting spirit. The printer also comes randomly on and cycles noisily for no apparent reason, especially around 0200.

Try to remove it from the Printers and Scanners menu then re-add it back in using the generic Windows print driver.
