In "Bob is the Oil Guy" articles, Motor Oil University, chapter 6, he recommends the brand, Renewable Lubricants, Inc. for the synthetic class oil, weights 40 - 20. I can't find 0W-20 made by Renewable Lubricants, Inc. In fact, I can't find 0W-20, 30, 40...any of those. The closest I get is 5w30.

Does anyone know where you can buy Renewable Lubricants 0W-20, 30, or 40?

They don't have a 0w40. They do have 0w30, which I use to run in my Audi S4.

Bill, the president, has told me the 5w40 is almost meeting 0w40 specs, FWIW.

Unless you have a high performance engine RLI or RL really are not worth the cost. What engine were you thinking of putting that stuff in? M1 0w20 is a great oil if you are looking for a 0w20 (M1 0w40 is outstanding as well) and it won't break the bank.

I'm thinking down the road. I have a 2012 Honda Fit so it won't be getting an oil change until much later, but just looking, specifically for the Renewable Lubricants brand.

I've run RLI in my 2007 Honda Fit since I purchased it and have been very happy with their performance. I'm running extended oil change intervals, between 15k and 20k miles, and the UOA reports always come back looking good. I stopped by their site recently to order some more oil but at their current prices, I might have to switch to Mobil 1. RLI 5w20 is now $44.95 a gallon where Mobil 1 is $25 for 5 quarts at Walmart.
