Remote Auto Tranny filter

Hey guys is there any true benefit in running a remote filter kit on a auto tranny? Ive had one on my Tacoma for the last 4 years now and haven had any issues. I thought about ditching it and running a inline filter instead.

Does running a remote filter kit create any pressure difference?

Why ditch the remote filter that is already installed? After 4 years you could change the filter element and have better filtration and flow IMO than a simple inline filter which will cost more. The Magnifines are good, convenient filters and certainly much better than no inline filter, but I would not change to it from a filter mount type. If you are going to spend that much money on an inline, get an EaO15 oil filter that probably fits most remote filter mounts and get both great flow and filtration. And yes, you may lose a small amount of pressure/volume downstream of any filter, but should not be a problem.
