Regarding intake valve desposits with DI..

Some DI's don't have EGR, but the PCV system contributes, along with overlap between the intake & exhaust valves

If I had to live with DI, I would pull the pcv hose before every oil change and let it suck in some Seafoam.
Well, I've taken new steps. I ordered an EGR blockoff plate. This will throw a code but it can be permanently deleted (or ignored rather, not show up) with a Cobb AP tuner. Also rehooking up my catch can kit and just ordered 2 cases of Red Line 5w30. Lastly, I just ordered a throttle body spacer with meth tap to hook up my Devil's Own water/methanol injection kit with 2.5 gallon sumped tank.
I don't know what else to do but my car can't just keep going like this with the loss in mpg and performance (guessing 25 to 30 percent power loss).
I really hope this can at least stop the madness where it's at until someone comes up with some kind of solution to the problem.
p.s. to the above speed 3 guy. The dampers on this car SUCKS and should be replaced asap. They aren't even remotely good enough to handle the stock mazdaspeed springs. Koni FSD's are recommended as soon as possible and should be one of the first upgrades made to the suspension, this according to the experts on the mazdaspeedforums.
