I returned something to AAP, and got the amount refunded back to my card i used to purchase. Well that card got replaced by one with a chip from my bank (diff card number/same bank account number). Will it be refunded to that card or to my bank account. Does that make since?
It didn't even hit me until now, bank is closed as is store, so i will call my bank tomorrow amd see what they say. Aap said it would take 3-10 days for refund. Quick google got mixed results. Just wanted to see what you all thought before i called tomorrow.

Did you present the new card to them for the refund? Either way my guess would be that your account will be refunded without issue since both cards are linked back to the same original account. Just follow up to verify it's taken care of. In the meantime have a beer or something.

no, takes a day or two to show up. aap says 3-10 days but in the past ive seen it pending in 2.

They keep the old number active for a while for these types of things. I asked my credit card company the same type of thing when I had bought an airline ticket in advance but had a new card issued due to fraud before the flight. It all worked out fine, they do this every day.

Don't forget to update your stuff on autopay.

Keep your eyes peeled for it, it'll come through. I actually have an email alert set up for credits, that way I know I've got it. AFAIK it usually took 4-5 business days for AAP to process it.
