Looking forward to those. I'd highly recommend you use the Dyson package through Blackstone. He is very familiar with RL and can give you the proper read, which is really necessary with these reports.

I am already under the Terry D program. Runnin FP and LC too. He is helping me see how long I can strech the RL OCI on both cars...

I have a sample of used Red Line 5W30 right here on my desk ... still warm, actually.

It's out of my 2.5L Nissan Sentra SE-R SpecV. We already have an analysis from this same type of car and I'll add mine to that thread.

And yes, I'm asking for the Terry Dyson analysis package.

We've been waiting almost two years now for another Redline UOA from you Bror, yeehah it's about time!

How many miles are on it?

Yeah, I think the last UOA I did was my effin' Honda tractor.

This sample of Red Line has something like 5,800 miles on it. I don't know for sure right now because some of my tracking documents are on my work computer.

I'll know before I send it out on Monday.

I have both cars runnin RL and will sample at 10K on both. We should have a flurry of RL used oil analysis later this year.....

5800 miles is a good interval, that way when the results come back looking good the Redline haters won't say "but any oil can show good wear in 3000 miles!"

I don't think their are any Redline haters. I think many are just confused by this oil and used oil analysis. I think we also realize that the two most knowledgable people on BITOG, love Redline.

But now that we know measuring PPM wear in used oil analysis via decimals is ridiculous, it really isnt a concern. Their are people on here that start ridiculing an oil bc one used oil analysis showed 6ppm less Pb then another. How ridiculous can people be? PPM here folks, your engine is going to wear out.

More importantly, staying in grade is a bigger concer and that is where RL excells. Oxidative thickening is a sludge precursor. I'd rather worry about that, then whether my Pb is .0002 lower then another oil personally.

The only brand that gets hate from anyone is Mobil 1. Yet it's holding it's own against Amsoil in the 3MP study, an oil many thought would do better then Mobil 1. Mobil 1 IMO, still holds the best used oil analysis in a LS1 yet. I've posted it before.

VW and other German engine bearings help the Redline oil look better .

So, in German motors, the Red Line isn't losening or putting in suspension the previoulsy left behind wear particles?

This is a good point. Has anyone realized that the only incredible used oil analysis we see with RL are in VW's? And of course the ONE UOA in the Toyota.

I've posted three Redline used oil analysis from my Subaru WRX that were done by Oil Analyzers Inc.
I think I'll be sending the next one in for the Dyson/Blackstone analysis just to see what the interpertation is.

I'll do an UOA on Redline 10w30 from my 04 S2000 but that will be sometime in Oct/Nov.. the miles on the oil will be of the "hard" variety,

a lot of VTEC and 8300rpm shifts.
