Redline 5W-30 4k mi; Kia Forte Ex 2.0 115k mi

crap I'm so sorry. It's supposed to be 5W20, I'm not sure why I made that type.

How can I change the title?
You misunderstood. You didn't mess up, Blackstone did. If indeed you used 5w-20 oil, like it says on the report, then the viscosity they report (9.53) is too high. That value equates to a 30 grade oil, and they don't say anything about it. At the very least, they should flag it in bold and make a comment about the viscosity reading higher than the 20 grade spec. Did the oil thicken? Was their machine out of calibration? I guess we'll never know. Next time, try Oil Analyzers. Their results seem to be more accurate across the board. Plus they include TBN and oxidation in their price, which is about the same as Blackstone's (without TBN and oxidation). You'd have to pay BS extra for those numbers, which would put the cost of their analysis to $70.

I will likely have to call them to ask about this.

My first ever Blackstone oil analysis. It's a 2020 Kia Forte EX with 115,000 miles on it. Having used Redline 5W20 since I purchased the car with 1800 miles on it. Blackstone says it's a flawless report. It's my first time ever getting an oil analysis so I don't really know what to look for. I did notice a pretty high manganese level. Someone with a similar Forte in the ForteForums said his analysis showed Manganese at 1. I am burning about half a quart every 4k miles. I usually do an oil change at 4k to 5k.

Half a quart ever 4K miles is not bad at all
That’s a quart ever 8K. Your wear numbers with Redline look really good I’ve used a lot RL and it’s always on the thick side which I don’t mind I’d rather be thick than thin
Looks good to me !!👍

I have not heard of it.
it does a good job of cleaning fuel injectors, after 115k miles it may unclog your injectors. drive until the tank is almost empty, put in a full bottle and then fill up to full, in that sequence. then drive again to empty and then change your oil. maybe try VR&P at that point. did you see Glenda's VR&P post in the PCMO forum?

Interesting, I have never heard of Oil Analyzers. This was my first time ever getting a UOA, I'm just getting my feet wet. Many people are recommending to switch to Valvoline RnP because I'm burning up to a quart of oil with each OCI, I still have 3 bottles of Redline I need to use and will then likely switch to Valvoline.
If you have varnished/gummed ring grooves and lands, you do NOT want to wait to try a couple three OCI with VR&P. But the burn off could be normal PCV action esp if it has done so historically.

Continue to enjoy the car, I wish they still made these with a stick. The K4 seems too ungainly

I replaced the PCV valve almost a year ago. I haven't noticed any change in oil consumption. How do I know if I have varnished/gummed ring grooves?

With out a tear down it can be tough to impossible.

Indications could include:
Cylinder power imbalance, loss of low end lugging torque, and a drop in fuel mileage and -high oil usage

But many other wear and tune items can show similar indications. Valve adjustment, injector spray pattern, burnt or recessed valves, ignition break down, etc.

You could perform a cylinder leak down test. But I would not tear apart a good tune -up to do it.

If you are happy with the way the vehicle is running - just stay the course, use your quality RL lubricant and be happy. 1/2 litre usage across an OCI is absolutely no big deal on that engine - and pretty much par for the course with most any other engine design.
