Redline 20w-60HD Specs

I've been thinking about running this oil in my Harleys but could never find the specs on Redline's website so I sent them an email. Here are the specs in case anyone was interested (check out the HTHS):

Cool it's just beyond a 50 weight. Looks like a good oil for a shovelhead.

That is the highest HTHS that I have ever seen.

I use the Red Line 20W-50. Great oil.

For my first run I'm going to do 50% of each and see how the engine starts/runs and do an UOA. It ran great on the Amsoil 20W-50 Racing oil but was a little bit noisy. The Racing oil is about 18@100 IIRC and it a litte thin compared to the MC oil and Redline's 20W-50. I lot of people have commented on the 20W-60HD that it runs smooth and quiet, but it is pretty thick. Thick seems to work in the transmission and most people who try the Heavy Shockproof like it, but for the engine, I'm not ready to go that thick just yet. If it runs better on the 50% mix next year, then I may try 100% 20W-60HD the following year.
