Not really worried as I think they make most of their money on the off label brands of Redline OEM and Kendal,P66,Honda/Acura products. If you want to see how cheap it can get just head over to eliteracefabrication. I buy the CVT fluid for around 14-15 a QT. Cheaper than Honda OE and their Redline Si-1 isn't too expensive yet. Wondering if down the round I could run Redline 5w30 Euro in my Direct Injection K24 Honda Accord?I'd love to know what Red Line's margin of profit is on this oil. What do you think?
I wonder if it's the same addpack as their Professional Series ACEA C3 5w30.I'd love to know what Red Line's margin of profit is on this oil. What do you think?

How did it hold up? Red Line UOA's are all over the place.I've used the 5W30 Euro a few times. Gotten kind of pricey so I am using the Valvoline 504/507 now.
Not a great way to instill confidence…Red Line UOA's are all over the place.
My non-expert opinion is that Red Line excels in some areas, but the overall formulation is not the greatest for daily drivers. However, there are instances that surprised me. I suppose it's possible that the large POE content can work against them in certain situations. Not a great way to instill confidence…

I’ll use em any day of the week. I’ve done several UOA’s with great results. My non-expert opinion is that Red Line excels in some areas, but the overall formulation is not the greatest for daily drivers. I mainly wanted something that would respond well after a -40F/12 hour cold soak which is not uncommon. The diesels I have would labor and sound like they were initially running without pressure with the factory fill Castrol, this was corroborated by the low pressure lamp on the dash. I switched to Red Line and there was a world of difference. Faster cranking and no strange engine noises, almost immediate pressure. Ravenol was also good. Mobil 1 was better than the Castrol but not as good as the Red Line/Ravenol using the above non-scientific paramaters. The Valvoline sounds almost as good as the boutiques. I am now retired so the 12 hour cold soaks are a thing of the past. The Valvoline is 40% cheaper than the Red Line and 50% cheaper than the Ravenol. I can't really justify the cost anymore. I didn't try Amsoil as I don't support quasi MLM products. How did it hold up? Red Line UOA's are all over the place.
