Cool. Its not RHCP but Saliva in playing in a bar about 30 miles from here Tuesday night. My cousin and some guys I went to school with are opening for them.

My wife and I took my then 13 year old cousin to see RHCP and the Foo Fighters back in 2000. It was awesome!! They will be in concert here on the 25th,and we're kicking around going again!

I haven't bought their last few albums,but I still like RHCP.

I remember those guys well. Back in early 1990's we had a free university concert with them.

They walked out onto to stage with nothing but wearing a single sock. Really good band live. I never cared for their radio/CD music.

Depends on their mood - sometimes RHCP are really, really good live, sometimes they play like they NO interest at all.
There are some videos on youtube where they play pretty bad live.

When I saw them live about 10 yrs ago, I got lucky: They played well in that concert...
