About a year ago, I found an E30 325e. Ugliest green this side of Chrysler's "Atomic Yellow" (which was actually "something you would find in a baby's diaper green"). Plain vinyl seats in okay condition. It had over 200,000 miles on it but how much I'll never know because its speedometer was broken. Diesel low redline...0-60 in probably 14 seconds out of a 6 cylinder.
I accept that the E30 is a very structurally sound car and that the eta 6 cyl gets better mpg than many smaller 4 cyls, but there is no way that was a $4000 car. That was the price and they would not budge.
There is anouther 325 convertible that is looks like the top stayed down in all weather conditions Interior is garbage. They want $5000
