Really??? It's a manual trans truck btw. I thought you could go like 100k on the old 90 weight stuff. I guess today's cars have thinner trans/diff oils that need to be changed more. Honestly never would have thought of it.
Tests have shown if the diffie and transmission are changed sooner than later....the wear-in metals are flushed out and have less of a chance to do bearing dammage. I think even ATF is used in your stick shift.
