Never really been a Mopar guy but I really like the LEDs Dodge has been using on their lineup. They match the aggressive look of their vehicles well without looking cheap and tacky (cough, GM, cough).

The rear LEDs going around the entire back of that Durango are just too much for me. What's next? LED strips running around the entire circumference of the vehicle?

That's called the Christmas Tree package.... LOL.

LEDs do have a safety advantage seeing they can illuminate in milliseconds, rather than having to rely on incandescence to generate light; At 80mph that might be pretty significant.

Idiots will take this away when they feel "too safe".

If you are so close at 80MPH that the milliseconds of difference are important, then you have problems that no amount of LED lighting in the world will correct.

They have to so something to distract you from the rest of the vehicle. Can you imagine owning one of these new vehicles without the factory warranty?

I like the looks of most of the new Chryco products, but I am not an LED guy myself. I think sometimes they look good, but I just like a more traditional approach to auto styling myself.

That Challenger though.... <3

Yes.....

No different than owning my previous BMW really. And why does one need to be distracted from the rest of the vehicle? They look fantastic!

Can you control the person behind you?

Now that the retro cars are here what's going to be the next new thing? They've already done mini-vans, Mustangs, Challengers an Camaro's. You'd think after 50 or so years there would be something new, I mean really new. Horsepower isn't the answer. People haulers and SUV's aren't new and neither are annoying jacked up pickup trucks. I understand that performance is a problem without a lot of horsepower because cars have to be rolling bunkers but there's got to be something new coming.

The only "retro" car in the entire Dodge lineup is the Challenger. Everything else is "all new". The new Ford Explorer...? All new. The only "retro" car there is the Mustang.

If those retro cars aren't your thing, there are other options. The Charger isn't retro in any way except the name.

Oh, it definitely is. But that depends on the question

Like what? What are you expecting? You have a lot of complaints but don't seem to be a consumer of these newer cars anyways so what is the expectation here?

Yeah they look good but in a few years when one fails I wouldn't want to spend hundreds of dollars replacing it.

Caddy's have had them for ages, is the replacement cost that steep? LED's also, usually, have a much longer life if the circuitry is up to par.
