Had the same issue on a 2018 Hyundai Tucson. These were Raybestos Element3 rear pads. 3 1/2 years old with 35k miles. Inside rear pad delaminated. Looks like an oxidation issue with that specific pad. I'm in KY and rust typically isn't that big of a deal.
I did like the pedal feel with these pads. Good initial bite with a linear increase with pedal force. Very OE like minus dust.
Besides the pad failure, the only other issue was squeal in reverse. Was using new raybestos e3 rotors with the new pads and always squeaked backing up. You could get it to squeak by hand turn the wheel off the ground. No amount of lube or anti noise compounds would silence it.
Raybestos lost me on this one.
Just installed some Import Direct pads as I needed an immediate fix and couldn't wait for a delivery. Will see how those hold up.
