I finally got around to putting 1/4 of a small (i think 16 oz) bottle of mmo in the oil, and the noise went away, the rest went into the gas and through the intake (friend reccomended i use it like seafoam to make sure i got any and all deposits out) i plan to do 3,000 with that small bit of MMO in the oil, perhaps doing a shock 12oz a day before i change.
