My diesel's glow plugs are also it's cylinder pressure sensors. Fuel pressure exceeds 25,000psi.

The turbochargers is one of the least complicated parts of a modern diesel.

Turbocharging complicates the size and complexity of diesel emissions, VWs final euro centric NA diesels were much cleaner running than their TDI counterparts and didn’t even get hit by dieselgate recalls.

Why not a two door?
“Nobody buys 2 doors”
and the government punishes the 2 door vehicles with higher mpg requirements

And Yes I would totally own a 2 door bench seat 5 speed stick small naturally aspirated diesel

"built on the Small Wide 4x4 platform used by Stellantis family products like the Jeep Renegade"
If the truck is going to actually be based on the same platform as the Jeep Renegade (Fiat 500X), it is going to be truly tiny, not much larger than a Kei truck, smaller than the Maverick and much smaller than the old Toyota/Datsun/Mitsubishi (Dodge D50)/Isuzu (LUV)/Mazda (Courier) or even the Dodge (Rampage)/VW/Subaru (Brat) compact pickups from the old days. I'm not sure that there is much of a market in the US for a pickup this small, but I could be wrong. Personally, I would like to see the small RWD based trucks come back.
If it really is that small, you could just throw stuff in the trunk of your sedan. Too small is too small.
