Radar Dimax Tires

Inputting my VW 2017 Golf All Track data at the Tire Rack website gives a number of expected results but one stands out price wise. This is the 205/55 R17 Radar Dimax tire at $88.63 per tire or $354.52 for a set of 4. Gets a 50,000 mile tread warranty and some really excellent reviews.

Has anyone here run these tires? They are tempting at the price as I only drive this car about 5000 miles a year.

I'm sure they're pretty round and will get you places, but I've found it's worth spending more on tires. I almost always regret the cheapies.

Put a set on a friend's 1998 Accord. Loved 'em.

I'd pay more for something else. But if cheap round and black are your criteria... those aren't the worst option.

Laufenn S FIT AS LH01 for $95

Plenty of budget tires get the job done safely and with good reliability many of us just commute around town low to moderate speeds and budget tires fit the bill perfectly.

There are 3 showing Tire Rack. Which version. No I don't have any experience with them but TR does good testing. They have a video on this one.

Maybe S Fit is better but this always stuck in my head from Tire Rack on the G Fit.
